Bioculture Potential Management Strategy Based on the Local Wisdom of the Ethnic Duanu, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Indonesia
Abstract
The Duanu tribe community in Indragiri Hilir Regency adheres to the heritage of natural resources and the environment, which makes the culture of shellfishing activities. The current study analyzes how the strategy for managing bio culture potential is based on the local wisdom of the Duanu tribe, Indragiri Hilir Regency. This research on biocultural potential management strategies for the Duano Tribe community in Indragiri Hilir Regency uses a mixed-method approach. The results of the QSPM Matrix analysis show the Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) of alternative strategies for managing bio culture potential with empowerment based on the wisdom of the Duanu community of Indragiri Hilir Regency to the maximum, namely optimizing the bio culture strategy model through community empowerment, strategies for developing new economic opportunities by using the wealth of aquatic resources.
